HD Sensors Come to the Telos Series

The release of the new Pulsar Telos XL50 & Telos LRF XL50 introduces HD sensors to the Telos series and become the first HD thermal monoculars in the entire Pulsar range, offering premium thermal imaging and expanding the already stellar lineup of pro-grade Telos monoculars. Proudly made in Europe, these two new additions are a shining example of Pulsar’s dedication to innovation and a testament to the hard-working team of engineers who take great pains to ensure their products are deserving of their industry-leading status.

The Telos LRF XL50 & Telos XL50 each features a highly sensitive 1024×768, 12µm, <40mK NETD thermal sensor and a 50mm f1.0 germanium objective lens, providing outstanding image clarity all the way through its 2.5 – 20x magnification range.  This large format HD sensor, coupled with the powerful objective lens, enables unprecedented thermal detection capabilities, revealing even the smallest heat signature at a range of up to 2300m in almost any weather condition — including heavy rain, dense fog, snow, and high levels of humidity.

Enhanced Picture with Advanced Image Boost

Image quality is further enhanced through Pulsar’s Image Boost technology, employing a set of proprietary image processing algorithms to render complex scenes in a wide range of halftones with evenly emitting low-contrast objects — enhancing image detail and sharpening objects at various distances.

Widest FOV in the Series

At 14°, these two new additions to the Telos series achieve the widest field of view achieved throughout the entire range, opening up the observation even further and enabling greater detection opportunities without the need to scan or search. This wide field of view makes it easier to inspect an object of interest without losing sight of the observation area, so you’re always in control of the scene in front of you.

Built-in Laser Rangefinder for LRF Model

As you can tell from the name, the Telos LRF XL50 comes with a seamlessly integrated precision laser rangefinder, providing error-free distance measurements at up to 1000m, with an accuracy of ±1m. Perfect for staying well informed during observations. The Telos XL50 will be eligible for an LRF upgrade through Pulsars upgradeability programme.

Upgradeable Thermal Devices

Just like the six existing models in the Telos series, the Telos LRF XL50 & Telos XL50 features the ability to upgrade technological components, removing the need to purchase a brand-new device once new technology becomes available. Whether you’re looking to upgrade the sensor, swap out the objective lens, or even add a laser rangefinder to non-LRF models, Pulsar have you covered at a fraction of the cost. This ability to upgrade your device ensures it remains truly timeless, allowing you to keep your Telos at the top of its game, regardless of advances in technology.
